How it all started
The core foundation that has made our brand Jain and Iyer a legacy brand is the platonic neighborhood love and the convenience of having a family next door. The story starts in early 90’s from the lanes of mini South India of Mumbai i.e. Matunga where the Jains and Iyer’s decided to bloom as a chosen family. It all started when they shared recipes as a token of love through their windows. This is the place where the universe aligned the culinary magic of Iyer Amma with the business instincts of Jains, eventually leading to the brand Jain and Iyer.
Our brand flourished from the neighborhood love that our founders, Jain and Iyer Amma, cherish dearly. Neighbors are our chosen family, always the first ones at your door in times of need. They inspire us to infuse our products with the same care and warmth that they bring to our lives. Our range of offerings is a tribute to this bond, signifying that love can be found in a simple packet.
Founding and Early Growth
The grinding of our first batch of readymade batter on 24th June 1996 marked the birth of Jain and Iyer. By 20th April 2001, we established our first factory in Matunga, which led to securing a major contract with Radhakrishna Hospitality Services in August 2001
Technological Advancements
In 2008, we took a significant step forward by installing our first semi-automatic machine, enhancing our production capabilities with improved hygiene and technology.
Next Generation and Expansion
August 2020 saw the entry of the next generation of entrepreneurs, Renu and Vishwa, who expanded our home delivery services from 2 to over 40 societies, driving growth and innovation.
Recognition and Growth
In 2023, our commitment to quality and nutrition was recognized with a prestigious contract from Breach Candy Hospital, highlighting the nutritional value of our products.
